This rug is designed by Cappelen Dimyr, a creative collective based in Copenhagen. They are passionate about creating contemporary artisanal rugs and tapestries in the finest natural fibers, handcrafted by specialists in India using traditional techniques.
No.11 is a heavy, compact, and rustic rug in luxury chunky wool woven in a classic basket weave construction. The bold and over-dimensioned yarn runs through the entire rug and transitions into fringes made from the same yarn along all sides. This elevated piece is the first in Cappelen Dimyr’s collection with an appearance that is more classic.
